Relativity Media has purchased Ecstasia, a new futuristic feature which will be written and directed by Wayne Kramer.
The story is set in an alternate universe where love doesn't exist, although people can pay for a costly procedure known as, "commitment." Ecstasia is described as, "an emotional Viagra," and without it, couples will feel no romantic connection. Before shooting The Expendables 2, star Sylvester Stallone will move into the dark action comedy Headshot. This revenge tale, which follows a cop and a hitman who team up, after their respective partners are killed, to take down their common enemy, was originally set to be directed by Wayne Kramer. He has now amicably left the project due to creative differences.
At this time, Sylvester Stallone wants iconic action director Walter Hill, who is behind such classic films as The Warriors and 48 Hours, to direct Headshot. A new biopic is well under way that will take us into the life of an infamous Depression-era criminal. Risky Business Blog is reporting that Wayne Kramer has come aboard to direct Pretty Boy Floyd, a film based on the exploits of the notorious criminal.
Floyd, who was born Charles Arthur Floyd, is no stranger to the silver screen. His life was the focus of the 1960 film Pretty Boy Floyd as well as the 1970 film A Bullet for Pretty Boy. Most recently, Channing Tatum portrayed the criminal in last year's Public Enemies.Read More
We reported a few months back that an upcoming film project had found its second lead actor and now it seems they might have a new director as well. Latino Review is reporting that director Wayne Kramer is in talks to direct Kane & Lynch, the film based off the Eidos video game.
Simon Crane was originally set to direct the film, but the site is reporting that Crane and Millenium Pictures couldn't come to a deal and now Kramer is in talks to take his place. The site said that they are just in early talks right now and a deal hasn't been reached as of yet. It was also said that the studio reached out to director F.
