‘Hunger Games’ Poster Celebrates Sisters Katniss and Prim

The Hunger Games franchise is set to come to a close this November with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. But before that, the entire franchise will be celebrated at Cannes. There, a new Sisters portrait will debut, which features Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen and Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen.

While a lot of attention is placed on either 'Team Peeta' or 'Team Gale', one of the most important relationships in the entire The Hunger Games franchise is the one held between Katniss and her younger sister. Katniss is especially protective of Prim, and even volunteered to take her place in the Hunger Games, which set off the entire trilogy. The sisterly bond held between them sometimes gets lost in the action and thrills of the story, but now, with this new Sisters portrait, some of that attention is being placed back on them.

Karl Urban Goes Over the Rainbow for ‘The Wonder’

Karl Urban, Willow Shields, and Leehom Wang have signed on to star in The Wonder for Hyde Park International and director Ron Underwood.

This family 3D adventure centers on Rachel (Willow Shields), a 14-year-old girl who is mysteriously transported to China with two of her friends after they find the end of a rainbow. The kids are aided by Consul William Stanley (Karl Urban) when a shadowy organization begins pursuing them. Leehom Wang will play their new friend Cheng, who helps them find their way back home, along with averting a global catastrophe.

Director Gary Ross continues to direct his adaptation of the popular Suzanne Collins' novel The Hunger Games in North Carolina, and new images from the set have immerged, offerig a first look at Elizabeth Banks as District 12 escort and flamboyant loudmouth Effie Trinket. Also spotted in costume was Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen, Katniss' younger sister whom she saves from the Reaping. Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta in the movie, was also seen hanging around behind-the-scenes at the Hall of Justice. Check out the images below.

Director Gary Ross is currently in North Carolina shooting the first scenes for his upcoming adaptation The Hunger Games, which is based on Suzanne Collins's best selling novel. New photos have arrived from District 12's the Reaping, in which Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) sacrifices herself to The Hunger Games in order to save her sister Primrose (Willow Shields). Both are pictured in costume, along with Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Mackenzie Lintz as a District 8 tribute, and author Suzanne Collins suited up for a cameo.
