Following last night's episode of The Walking Dead, JSS, AMC has released two new previews for next week's episode, Thank You, airing Sunday, October 25 at 9 PM ET on AMC. After spending all of JSS inside Alexandria, we catch up with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and several other characters who are busy dealing with the zombie herd. As we saw in the season premiere, First Time Again, their plan didn't exactly go off without a hitch.
Last season, Rick had called the folks at Alexandria some of the luckiest people he had ever met, since they hadn't had to truly survive against the zombie herd like he has. In the season premiere, we found out why they got so lucky, since a massive hole in the Earth created a makeshift trap for walkers, and most of the zombies that would be heading towards Alexandria ended up in this hole. The season premiere episode showed Rick, Glenn (Steven Yeun), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) creating a path to send the walkers far from Alexandria, but then, something horrifying happened: a loud siren near Alexandria was set off, and the walkers all started gravitating towards Rick's new home.Read More
With so many incredible TV shows on the air these days, it's hard to find the time to keep up with everything. Over the past five years, The Walking Dead has transformed from an obscure comic book adaptation to the biggest show on television, as the AMC series gets ready to unveil Season 6 on Sunday, October 11 at 9 PM ET. If you don't have time to either watch or re-watch all of Season 5 before the Season 6 premiere, First Time Again, the folks at Mandatory have just the video for you, especially if you happen to be a Cheers fan.
In just over two minutes, this video breaks down all of the memorable moments of The Walking Dead Season 5, from the premiere to the finale, including the destruction of Terminus, our first introduction to Father Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam), Bob's (Larry Gilliard Jr.) "tainted meat" episode, the group's trek to Washington D.C., Eugene's (Josh McDermitt) betrayal and their eventual discovery of the Alexandria Safe Zone. You can also revisit the brutal deaths of Beth (Emily Kinney), Tyreese (Chad Coleman), Noah (Tyler James Williams) and Pete (Corey Brill). Of course, this video glosses over a lot, but it surprisingly hits most of the main beats covered last season.Read More
One of the many characters fans are still waiting to see on The Walking Dead is the villainous Negan from Robert Kirkman's original comic books. A rumor surfaced earlier this month that the show's producers were "secretly" casting Negan, but that was never confirmed. Today, we have word from TV Line that Xander Berkeley has been cast in a top-secret role, although sources claim that he is not playing Negan. Even though he does match some of the same attributes.
Xander Berkeley has seemingly signed on for the same character that was revealed in a casting breakdown earlier this month, who many thought was Negan. The character is described as a narcissist with a huge ego, who "relishes" the thrill of being in control, which he plays off with a "car salesman" like charm. The report from earlier this month stated this character's name is "Rich," but TV Line reveals the character name is being kept under wraps, for now.Read More
