We reported over a year ago that Mickey Rourke would be starring in a new film by director Walter Hill, and while that doesn't seem to be the case now, Hill does have a quartet of new actors. Variety is reporting that Pierce Brosnan, Billy Bob Thornton, Maria Bello and Giovanni Ribisi have all joined the cast of St. Vincent.

Walter Hill (The Warriors) is directing from a script by Cameron Young, which centers on a hitman, played by Bronsan, who poses as a priest to get close to his target, a gangland turncoat (Thornton). It wasn't clear what roles Bello and Ribisi would play in the film.

Production is scheduled to begin on July 12 with filming taking place in Detroit. No release schedule was announced for the film.
