Game of Thrones stars Lena Headey and Charles Dance have joined the cast of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which was just acquired by Screen Gems for U.S. distribution. No details were given for Lena Headey and Charles Dance's characters.

The project is adapted from Seth Grahame-Smith's novel of the same name, which takes Jane Austen's characters from her original novel Pride and Prejudice, and throws them into a zombie outbreak scenario. Lily James stars as Elizabeth Bennett, who is pressured by her family to marry a wealthy man, but her plans change when zombies begin to invade the countryside. Jack Huston is playing Wickham, a man who Elizabeth falls for as he trains her how to fight back against the zombies. Sam Riley, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Emma Greenwell and Matt Smith round out the cast.

Burr Steers is directing from his own screenplay, with David O. Russell working on an earlier version of the script, when he was originally attached to direct. Brian Oliver, Allison Shearmur, Sean McKittrick, Natalie Portman, Annette Savitch, Tyler Thompson and Marc Butan are serving as producers, with shooting scheduled to begin tomorrow.

Lena Headey and Charles Dance portray Cersei and Tywin Lannister on HBO's Game of Thrones, which is entering its fifth season next year. On the big screen, Lena Headey most recently starred in 300: Rise of an Empire, and Charles Dance stars in Dracula Untold and The Imitation Game, which will both be released later this year.
