Producer Ted Field is planning a feature film surrounding Hollywood's famous Magic City nightclub. The film is being setup by 20th Century Fox and will be produced by his Radar Pictures.

The mansion dates back to the early 1900's and is currently the headquarters to the Academy of Magical Arts. No plot details have been released, but it will undoubtedly surround the rich history of the structure. The building is located at 7001 W. Franklin Ave. and was converted into the private magic club in 1963.

Magicians Mark Wilson and Jay Ose have performed at the property alongside celebrity enthusiasts Cary Grant, Steve Martin, Johnny Carson and Neil Patrick Harris.

No production schedule has been released for this project.
