Dean Israelite makes his directorial debut with Project Almanac, a unique spin on the found footage genre. Produced by Michael Bay, a series of new TV spots offer a look at the pros and cons of meddling with one's destiny, as they break down the rules for time travel in this sci-fi thriller.

Project Almanac follows a group of high school kids who unlock the ability to travel in time. They quickly find themselves in over their heads, as these teens find inventive ways to make use of their new ability. Of course, there is a lot of danger that comes in meddling with the space time continuum, which these kids quickly learn on their own.

Jason Pagan and Andrew Deutschman ( Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension) wrote Project Almanac, which brings a twist to the usual paradox associated with timelines and traveling between alternate dimensions. The cast of newcomers includes Sofia Black-D'Elia, Ginny Gardner, Jonny Weston, Amy Landecker and Katie Garfield. Strap yourself in and take a look, this isn't your dad's DeLorean:
