Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre has landed supporting roles in two upcoming action projects, Sony's White House Down and Millennium Films' Homefront.

White House Down centers on a Secret Service agent (Channing Tatum) who tries to thwart a terrorist attack at the Presidential residence. The actress will portray the agent's ex-wife in the action-thriller, which also stars Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and James Woods. Roland Emmerich is directing from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt, with production already under way in Montreal.

Homefront stars Jason Statham as a former DEA agent who moves to a small town for some peace and quiet. Soon thereafter, he tangles with a ruthless drug lord (James Franco). Rachelle Lefevre is playing a school psychologist who tries to warn the man about the dangers of this town. Gary Fleder is directing from a screenplay by Sylvester Stallone. Production will begin October 1 in New Orleans.
