The ‘Goodfellas’ star will portray Mark "Markie" Trautmann, who sets up a lucrative poker game that gets robbed in Andrew Dominik's drama.

Ray Liotta Joins ‘Cogan's Trade’

Ray Liotta joins the cast of Cogan's TradeRay Liotta has become the latest to join the high-profile cast of Andrew Dominik's Cogan's Trade. Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem were also confirmed as cast members.

Ray Liotta will play Mark "Markie" Trautmann in Cogan's Trade, a gambler who sets up a poker game in a motel room, which is later robbed, despite being run under mob protection. Brad Pitt will play the mafia enforcer who investigates the robbery.

Andrew Dominik is directing Cogan's Trade from a script he adapted from the George V. Higgins novel. Production will start later this month, with filming to take place in New Orleans.

A 2012 release is being planned for Cogan's Trade.

Killing Them Softly was released November 30th, 2012.

    cool :) Ray Liotta has a knack for one of the bad guys like Gary Oldman, Mark Strong and Gary Sinise.

    Awesome cast, they even have Javier, Casey and Sam hehehe :)
