We told you we'd bring you more info on The Descent and we are making good on that promise!

In a story from The Digital Bits, it appears like Lionsgate is throwing in all the bells and whistles for this December 26 release.

First of all the movie is going to be offered in "Unrated anamorphic widescreen, Unrated full frame and R-rated full frame editions for $28.98 a piece." Then the disc will also be offered in "a Blu-ray Disc edition that includes both versions of the film in 1080p widescreen for $39.99."

The Unrated version of The Descent will include:

- Audio commentary with the director and cast

- A commentary with the director and members of the production crew

- The Descent: Beneath the Scenes documentary

- Deleted and Extended scenes

- Outtakes

- DesENDING interview with the director

- Storyboards and scene comparisons

- Stills gallery

- Cast and crew biographies.

There is going to be a "full frame R-rated edition will include only the audio commentary with the director and cast."

Specs for the Blu-ray version of The Descent include:

- Both versions of the film via seamless branching

- 6.1 PCM uncompressed audio and Dolby Digital 5.1 EX audio

- All of the Unrated DVD extras

- In-movie interactive experience called The Gate this gives you the option of viewing behind-the-scenes material while watching the movie

- A short featurette called Caving in high-definition.

Then on February 6th, Genius Entertainment will be bringing out Dead Mary. That same day Hannover House/Allumination releases The Evil Behind You. Hellboy: Sword of Storms also comes out that day through Anchor Bay.

Lastly, February 13 sees the release of Tokyo Shock/Media Blasters' Doll from Hell. That same day Image Entertainment releases Driftwood upon the world.
