Rebel Wilson has signed on to star in Sony Pictures' action-comedy Grimsby, alongside Sacha Baron Cohen, Mark Strong and Annabelle Wallis.

The story centers on a British black ops spy, who is forced to go on the run with his idiotic, soccer hooligan brother (Sacha Baron Cohen). Annabelle Wallis is playing one of the soccer hooligan's suitors, although no details were released regarding Rebel Wilson's role. David Harewood, Ian McShane, Gabourey Sidibe and Johnny Vegas also star.

Louis Leterrier (Now You See Me, Clash of the Titans) is directing from a screenplay by Phil Johnston (Cedar Rapids), Peter Baynham (The Dictator) and Sacha Baron Cohen, based on a story originally created by Sacha Baron Cohen and Phil Johnston. Sacha Baron Cohen and Nira Park are producing, with shooting scheduled to begin this summer.

Rebel Wilson recently wrapped production on Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, and she will reprise her role as Fat Amy in the comedy sequel Pitch Perfect 2. The actress also signed on last month to star in the Private Benjamin remake.
