"America Was Born In The Streets"

I didn't think it was all too great. The only good thing was Daniel Day-Lewis. He was amazing in that. i may need to watch it again...cause all i gathered was it involving an out-of-place, non-suspenseful intro and closing. it seemed completely random. and what was up with Leo's voice. was he Irish or what. Ga ah!

I know he was supposed to be Irish... but he wasn't convincing enough, even before he encounted Bill "The Butcher" Cutting [Daniel Day-Lewis]

He was Irish, but he had to lose it to infiltrate Daniel Day-Lewis' gang, and so he wouldn't be noticed as Liam Neeson son, so he could seek revenge on Daniel Day-Lewis, I thought this was a great movie but it's a matter of opinion and movies a person likes.
