Production is underway in Vancouver, B.C. on Revolution Studios' Little Man, a comedy directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans and starring Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Kerry Washington and Tracy Morgan, it was announced today by Revolution Studios. The film will be released by Columbia Pictures over the Memorial Day weekend on May 26, 2006.

The original screenplay was written by Keenen Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans, who are also producing the film for Revolution Studios, along with Rick Alvarez (White Chicks, Scary Movie 2) and Lee R. Mayes (White Chicks, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2).

In the hilarious comedy Little Man, Shawn Wayans plays a man so anxious to become a father that he mistakes a short-statured, baby-faced thief on the run, played by Marlon Wayans, for an abandoned toddler. He and his wife, played by Kerry Washington, take the "baby" into their home and care for him. The "baby's" partner-in-crime in a jewelry store heist, played by Tracy Morgan, tries to break him out and recover a stolen diamond.

Keenen Ivory Wayans most recently wrote and directed the comedies White Chicks, Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2. His other feature film directing credits include "A Low Down Dirty Shame" and "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka," both of which he also wrote, starred in and produced. Additionally, Keenen Ivory Wayans wrote, starred and produced the feature Most Wanted and co-wrote and produced "Hollywood Shuffle." Keenen Ivory Wayans also created, starred in and wrote the hit television comedy series "In Living Color."

Shawn Wayans most recently starred in White Chicks, which he also wrote and produced. He co-starred and co-executive produced Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2 and "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood." His television credits include "The Wayans Brothers," which he created, co-starred in and co-executive produced. He was also featured in the hit television series "In Living Color."

Marlon Wayans, was most recently seen in the comedy White Chicks, which he also wrote and produced, and the Coen Brothers comedy "Ladykillers" opposite Tom Hanks. His additional feature film credits include the critically acclaimed drama "Requiem For A Dream," Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2 (which he co-starred, co-wrote and co-executive produced), The Sixth Man, and "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" (which he also co-wrote, co-starred and co-executive produced). His television credits include the hit series' "In Living Color," which he was featured in, and "The Wayans Brothers," which he created, co-starred and executive produced.

Kerry Washington was most recently seen in the summer hits Fantastic Four and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. She also starred in the 2004 smash hit Ray, where she portrayed Ray Charles' wife Della Bea Robinson in a critically acclaimed performance. Her other film credits include She Hate Me, Against the Ropes, The United States of Leland, The Human Stain, Bad Company and Save the Last Dance. She will next be seen in The Last King of Scotland opposite Forrest Whitaker.

Tracy Morgan is best known for seven seasons as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live." He most recently appeared in the comedy The Longest Yard. His other film credits include Head of State and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. He also starred in "The Tracy Morgan Show."
