Following the news last month that Ridiculous 6 will be the first project in Adam Sandler's four-movie Netflix deal from September, Lost star Jorge Garcia has joined the cast. Warner Bros., the studio that produced Adam Sandler's last comedy Blended, was previously in talks to distribute the Western comedy Ridiculous 6. The studio backed out after both Blended and Seth MacFarlane's Western A Million Ways to Die in the West underperformed at the box office.

Adam Sandler stars as a man who was raised as an orphan by an Indian tribe in Ridiculous 6, which is described as a spoof of The Magnificent Seven. Taylor Lautner, Luke Wilson, Rob Schneider and Terry Crews are playing the orphan's half-brothers. Last month's report revealed there is one more half-brother yet to be cast, so it's possible that this is who Jorge Garcia is playing. Nick Nolte plays the long-lost father of Sandler's character, with Jon Lovitz and Whitney Cummings playing a bank manager and his flirty wife.

Will Forte and Danny Trejo are also starring as leaders of rival gangs, with Steve Buscemi playing the town's jack-of-all-trades, Blake Shelton set to play Western icon Wyatt Earp and Vanilla Ice playing author Mark Twain. The cast also includes Dan Aykroyd, Nick Swardson, Steve Zahn, Chris Parnell and Lavell Crawford in unspecified roles. Frank Coraci is directing from a script co-written by Adam Sandler and Tim Herlihy, with production scheduled to begin this month in New Mexico.

Jorge Garcia is best known for playing Hurley in all six seasons of ABC's Lost and Fox's Alcatraz. He currently stars in CBS' Hawaii Five-0, and he can currently be seen in the big screen comedy The Wedding Ringer, alongside Kevin Hart, Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco.
