Robert De Niro and Paul Dano has signed on to star in Focus Features' Another Night, directed by Paul Weitz who also wrote the script.

According to Variety, the project is based on Nick Flynn's 2004 memoir "Another Bullshit Night in Suck City" and tells the story of a young writer who takes a job at a homeless shelter in Boston -- where one night he discovers his long-absent father seeking a bed.
