Terry Gilliam recently made the press rounds for his upcoming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, and revealed to numerous members of the press that he'd found the right man to play Don Quijote de la Mancha in his long gestating, often delayed fantasy film The Man Who Killed Don Quixote. Of course, he wouldn't reveal who it was. Today, while attending the Crazy Heart press junket, our friends over at Collider discovered who the mystery actor is. And it's none other than the iconic Robert Duvall.

You can visit Collider for more on the story. Duvall didn't say much more than he's being considered for the role. Gilliam has long tried to get this story off the ground, and his first attempt to capture it all on film with Johnny Depp in the lead failed miserably. But it sure did make for one great documentary entitled Lost in La Mancha.

Terry Gilliam doesn't have a set start date for this second pass at what could be a quite legendary film. We'll keep you updated as things progress.
