    @vanboy

    Hence that's why he didn't have a human right hand.

      @felipe-11 Both of the suits look pretty cool. The black suit looks like a black version of an Iron Man suit with out the chest piece and a different helmet.

        I've been waiting for this remake since it was first announced (which is odd since it's a remake). The original was kinda bleh to me. It's fun and cool and never dull, but also really silly and disjointed.

        What I wanted out of this remake appears to be there judging from the trailer. More focus on the family, more focus on the construction of the mechanical suit, and addressing the "illusion of free will" that comes with it.

        I'm excited and even more accepting of its PG-13 rating now. It looks like it'll still have the stylized action without any of the grotesque violence. I mean, I liked the gore in the original, but that's really all it had going for it.

          I've watched the trailer a few times. I honestly can't wait for it. It definitely makes me want to pull out my X rated version of the original Verhoeven classic and watch it again for the nostalgia. I can appreciate this going in a new direction.

            I will either wait for the cheap theater when it's $1.50 or Redbox!!! Looks cheap, cheesy and ....Just bad!!

            Why remake something that already has been done....BUT BETTER!

                            @nathan_lease not just the hand. In the original the scientists said they saved the right ARM, and then Bob Morton (Miguel Ferrer) told them to, "Lose the arm".

                              @Replicant I could not agree more. The blue/grey version in the first picture better be how he ends up. If the final version is that black skinny one, that is going to suck. It looks like a robot Human version of K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider. I hope the scene where Keaton says make him black is the initial version, and then the final version is the blue/grey version. They better not screw this up. I've waited too long for this.

                                      The film looks fab, it is trying to be faithful to the original but also its keeping its source rolled up into socio-political ties, but its being handled a bit more evenly, as an action movie with something to say where Paul V's was a bold brash affair but it was a cartoon and very very artsy. Very much looking forward to this, all actors look like they are right up and in there with the story and their characters and RoboCop looks ace.

                                          @Bill-Louis Ofcourse not -.- They were'nt trying to make it exactly like the original. What would be the point in that?
