According to The Hollywood Reporter, DVD sales front for the week ending October 2 concluded that Robots and Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story scored a one-two finish on the preliminary national sales chart.

The sleeper of the week, though, was Universal's Carlito's Way: Rise to Power, a direct-to-video sequel to the 1993 Al Pacino starrer that stunned industry observers by bowing at No. 4 on VideoScan's First Alert chart. That's three notches above Sony Pictures' Lords of Dogtown, which arrived on DVD the same day but had both a hot upstart director (Catherine Hardwicke of Thirteen fame) and a summer theatrical run to its credit.
