We are just three weeks away from the release of a brand new Star Wars movie. There is just one burning question; when can we get our hands on tickets for Star Wars: Rogue One? We now have our answer and the answer is Monday. This news was announced shortly after a new Thanksgiving Day final trailer was unveiled.

Atom Tickets, an advanced ticketing platform, spilled the beans when they announced they were doing a promotional tie-in for Star Wars: Rogue One. Atom revealed that the tickets would be going on sale Monday, November 28, in the U.S. They already went on sale last week in the U.K. Fandango stepped in and further revealed that the tickets would go on sale at midnight in the U.S., which is definitely good to know for those who are hoping to see the movie first. So if you want to get your hands on some early showing tickets for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, you'd better be prepared to stay up a little late this Monday.

Nobody is expecting Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to do what Star Wars: The Force Awakens did at the box office, but it will still absolutely crush. By the time The Force Awakens hit theaters it had sold more than $100 million in advance tickets. Again, Star Wars: Rogue One may not hit those crazy numbers, but it will certainly be big and the power of Disney, especially when combined with the power of Star Wars, should never be underestimated.

In addition to the news that tickets are finally going on sale for the very first ever Star Wars spinoff, a bundle of brand new images have surfaced. First off, Empire Magazine got their hands on a couple of exclusive images that show off some of the new characters who are going to be featured in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. One of the images highlights Bodhi Rook, who is played by Riz Ahmed as well as some of the other less central, but still cool looking, new characters. The other image features the buddy duo with very opposing views, Baze Malbus, played by Jiang Wen and Chirrut Îmwe, played by Donnie Yen.

Not only did we get these new Empire images, but some very exciting new international images have surfaced for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as well. There are several pretty cool IMAX posters, but easily the best new image is a gigantic new banner image for the movie that is pretty much everything fans want this movie to be. It teases the looming battle between the Empire and the Rebels, the new AT-ACT and most importantly, the Death Star.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and tells the story of how the Rebellion got their hands on the plans for the Death Star. The movie stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Alan Tudyk, Diego Luna, Jiang Wen, Donnie Yen, Wen Jiang and Forest Whitaker. The movie is being directed by Godzilla helmer Gareth Edwards. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set to hit theaters on December 16, 2016. You can check out all of the new images for yourself below.
