When the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Star Wars spin-off Rogue One debuted in April, it gave us our first look at the returning character Mon Mothma, played by Genevieve O'Reilly. Today we have a new portrait of this character along with two international posters, both of which come courtesy of screenwriter Gary Whitta, who was the first writer to take a crack at the script. With just under one month to go until Rogue One hits theaters, it remains to be seen if more photos, posters and footage will be released.

Along with the posters and portrait, which Gary Whitta unveiled on Twitter, Making Star Wars also revealed new behind-the-scenes photos from Rogue One, which features director Gareth Edwards and stars such as Donnie Yen, Wen Jiang and Warwick Davis. The Warwick Davis image also gives us a first look at the creature he is playing, with an unidentified crew member holding his mask. The actor returned to the Star Wars universe last year playing Wollivan in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, 32 years after making his feature film debut as the Ewok Wicket in Return of the Jedi.

For those of you waiting for new footage from Rogue One, we reported last week that a sneak peek will air during the Disney Holiday Celebration on ABC on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24. It hasn't been confirmed if this will be a clip or a new trailer that debuts during this special, but we'll find out for sure in just 17 short days. Disney has set a December 16 release date for Rogue One, which will go up against Warner Bros.' Collateral Beauty, starring Will Smith.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire's ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Felicity Jones leads the cast for Rogue One, which also includes Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Gareth Edwards directs from a script by Gary Whitta and Chris Weitz, with Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel producing and John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. Take a look at the poster, portrait and behind-the-scenes photos from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
