Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been shrouded in almost as much mystery as Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Though we do know the basics of the plot. Rebel soldiers infiltrate the Empire and steal plans to the original Death Star. Today, we have some new details about this infamous raid, which leads directly into Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. And we have news of a very intriguing new cast member.

Jedi News reports that Scottish supermodel Eunice Olumide is playing a nomadic Rebel Leader in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Her part is said to be very small. The burgeoning actress has worked for Vivienne Westwood, Mulberry and Henry Holland. And she is extremely excited about her new found acting career kicking off with something as monumental as the first ever big screen Star Wars spinoff. About her role in the movie, she shares this.

"I did a small feature in Star Wars Rogue One. That was a really awesome experience. I don't have lines but it was an incredible experience to be part of such an iconic film. I was originally supposed to play a nomad, but since I'm athletic I ended up playing a rebellion leader. There's a small scene where I run and there's a tank that comes after me with 20 stormtroopers. There's loads of explosions. I kept getting a fright whenever the explosions went off."

While she doesn't have any lines, it sounds like Eunice Olumide will be getting her own action figure. And she has officially become part of the Star Wars live-action canon. Though, she does not share her character's name just yet. She did have this to say about the experience.

"If my scene gets cut or not cut I was entered into the George Lucas Archives. I got into a 3D scanner and they did a scan. They scan all the characters so they can reproduce individual toys or computer games. I will be a toy. It was an amazing experience."

The supermodel also talked with HeraldScotland.com. Here, she describes her character as a nomad, which she corrected in the previous interview. She also hints at more of the action we can expect.

"I did not get any lines, but I got to wear this really outlandish costume and run through a bar while a tank comes after us. About 20 stormtroopers pile out and there's lots of explosions. I have this sort of mushroom on my head. A bit ironic, seeing as I'm a model."

There is a big battlefield action scene in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which pits the Rebels against the classic Stormtroopers. We've previously seen set photos from this shoot, which left the ground littered with dead Stormtrooper bodies. And it's possible that the supermodel is talking about this exact scene. What do you think? Are you excited to see a tank full of Stormtroopers get blown to smithereens?
