While we haven't necessarily been clamoring for a Johnny English 2 stateside, that hasn't stopped British icon Rowan Atkinson from moving ahead on the sequel, as the first film was a hit in its home country. Deadline is reporting that Atkinson has found a willing co-star in Daniel Kaluuya, who recently signed onto the project.

Kaluuya will play a fellow secret agent in the upcoming spy sequel. He is the first actor to be signed to the film, which begins shooting in September. Oliver Parker is set to direct the comedy, with a script from Hamish McColl. The storyline finds Johnny English desperately trying to weed out a couple of traitors who have fallen in line with "Her Majesty's Secret Service".
