A grieving father discover's his late son's musical talent in the first trailer for Rudderless, which marks the directorial debut of William H. Macy. Billy Crudup stars as Sam, a former advertising executive whose world is rocked after the sudden death of his son. When Sam discovers his son's demo tapes, this father tries to fulfill his son's dreams by playing one of his songs at a local bar, where he meets Quentin (Anton Yelchin) and forms an unlikely rock band that changes both of their lives.

Selena Gomez, Jamie Chung, Laurence Fishburne, Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy round out the supporting cast of this upcoming drama, debuting in theaters and on iTunes October 17.
