It's been almost two years since we last heard anything about the film Drive, which Hugh Jackman was to star in for director Neil Marshall, and now it seems the project could be in new hands. Empire is reporting that Valhalla Rising and Bronson director Nicolas Winding Refn could now be directing the project, with Ryan Gosling to star. Here's what Refn told the site, when asked what his next film might be.

"Hopefully next is a movie with Ryan Gosling at a studio in America. It's called Drive, and it's about a stuntman by day, a getaway driver by night."

The site did confirm that Gosling would play the central, stuntman part and that the film would be set in Los Angeles. CLICK HERE for the full article and we'll be sure to keep you posted on the status of Drive as soon as we have more information.
