In a story from Heat Vision, Samuel L. Jackson and Kellan Lutz are in talks to star in Deathgames for the Motion Picture Corporation of America.

Jonah Loop (visual effects supervisor on Collateral) is set to make his directorial debut. It will begin shooting next month in Louisiana.

Deathgames follows a man (Lutz) who is taken and forced into the brutal world "of a modern gladiator arena, where men fight to the death for entertainment of the online masses." Jackson is in charge of the games. He oversees them from his computer dungeon.

Michael Hultquist, Robert E. Martinez and Tony Giglio worked on the script. Loop also did a rewrite.

Deathgames has a budget of $10 million.
