‘Saving Mr. Banks’ Clip 'Pamela Go Around'

Walt Disney (Tom Hanks) tries to convince Mary Poppins author P.L. Travers (Emma Thompson) that there is still a child in all of us in this scene from Saving Mr. Banks. Although it went on to become a cinematic classic, Mary Poppins' road from the page to the screen was not an easy one, particularly because P.L. Travers had no interest in seeing her beloved character turned into a Disney icon. Watch what happens as Walt Disney convinces P.L. Travers to go one one of his Disneyland merry-go-round rides.

Saving Mr. Banks was released December 13th, 2013.
