With Halloween just around the corner, MTV revealed today that the network has issued a series order for their Scream TV show. The announcement came through MTV's official Twitter page, which comes with a phone number (310-461-4299) that allows fans to hear a pre-recorded message revealing the show will debut in October 2015. Take a look at the tweet, and check out the full message below, which is delivered by the iconic creepy Scream voice when you call the number.

"Do you like scary TV? Scream is coming to MTV, October 2015."

MTV has handed out a 10-episode order for the series, which comes nearly a year and a half after the network first ordered the pilot back in April 2013. Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin wrote the original pilot script, which was re-written by executive producer and showrunner Jill E. Blotevogel (Harper's Island).

The network announced the full cast and pilot director back in August, but the show re-cast one of the lead roles just one week later, with Bex Taylor-Klaus replacing Amy Forsyth as Audrey Jensen, the daughter of a pastor and aspiring filmmaker. We also reported earlier this month that the series will likely not include the iconic Ghost Face mask from the movie franchise.

The cast also includes Willa Fitzgerald, John Karna, Connor Weil, Amadeus Serafini, Carlson Young, Joel Gretsch, Bobby Campo, Tom Madden and Anna Grace Barlow. Original Scream movie director Wes Craven serving as an executive producer alongside Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad. Jamie Travis directed the pilot episode.
