Filmmaker Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, Green Lantern) has been set to direct an adaptation of the graphic novel Sebastian X for Voltage Films, Valhalla Motion Pictures and publisher Humanoids. The plot centers on a police officer who suffers a near-fatal injury and is implanted with the memories of the world's most dangerous terrorist, known as Sebastian X. He then goes on a mission to infiltrate the terrorist's organization before they can pull off their next attack.

Bill Marsilii (Deja Vu) is writing the adapted screenplay, based on Michelangelo La Neve's graphic novel of the same name. Nicolas Chartier and Craig J. Flores are producing for Voltage Pictures, alongside Valhalla's Gale Anne Hurd and Humanoids' Pierre Spengler and Fabrice Giger. Voltage Pictures will handle worldwide distribution, although no production schedule has been given at this time.

Martin Campbell hasn't directed a feature since 2011's Green Lantern, but we reported last month that he is circling G.I. Joe 3. He is also attached to direct Hunter Killer. His other directorial credits include Casino Royale, Edge of Darkness and Goldeneye.
