Second ‘Looper’ Trailer

Yesterday, we got a look at the international trailer for Looper, which director Rian Johnson didn't think you should watch if you plan on buying a ticket. It wasn't a particularly spoiler-ish trailer, and neither is this second official US look at the film, which hit our online shores earlier today. It's just that, well, if you're already set on seeing this sci-fi thriller that pits Joseph Gordon-Levitt against an older version of himself (played by Bruce Willis), you should skip the rest of the marketing campaign so that the film feels fresh when you enter the auditorium. If you're one of the select many that still doesn't know what's going on here, then by all means, take a look!

Looper was released September 28th, 2012.

OKAY!! OKAY! Alex Cross and Looper has the same trailer music! Dredd and Total Recall have similar sounding ones... geez people, listen to some Two Steps from Hell or Immediate Music -_-.

@bawnian-dexeus I have a feeling that his performance will wash away any doubts. It may be jarring for a few minutes but i bet after 15-20 mins it wont even be on your mind.

@bawnian-dexeus@bawnian-dexeus Yeah, I hate that because this is going to be his big coming out party as far as mainstream audiences are concerned. We want people to recognize him after their minds are blown away!

@skywise I just hope it isn't an issue when the final product hits the streets. I hate things like this because then it becomes an annoying distraction

@bawnian-dexeus the way it flashes from Levitt's eyes to Willis' I am guessing they modifies his look to make it more likely and believeable to the audience that Willis is who he will become in his later life. But i agree he looks bizarre.

I wish I could remember the name of the guy who's been talkin' this movie up on this site for almost a year now... :P

Once more, this is gonna be 2012's version of Drive for all the reasons I've previously mentioned. I agree with everyone's comments. Simply can't wait for this one.
