Following the trailer from March, the full-length trailer for Riddick has finally arrived! Vin Diesel returns as the title character, who has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet. Watch as he soon finds himself fighting off alien predators more deadly than anything he has yet to encounter in this long-standing franchise from director David Twohy.

Just as well, Universal Pictures has also unveiled a slew of new photos and fresh poster for the movie. Check those out below.

This looks f**kin awesome, although I admit it does look alot like Pitch Black, it still looks very cool, and as I heard by the official synopsis it it still suppose to take place after the events of Chronicles.

So they're combining elements from the first two films...we'll see. I hope this is good.

@gandoff: Vin Diesel said that the film takes place after the Chronicles of Riddick. I believe Riddick is betrayed by Karl Urban and the Furians and left for dead on a isolated planet where we find him in the trailer. On I side note I really hope Urban has more of a role in the film than just a cameo appearance. I really like the actor and enjoy the majority of films he is in.

Are those creatures supposed to be similiar to the ones in Pitch Black...Seeing as how it looks as if they only started coming out when the planet went dark?

                      And P.S...AWESOME TRAILER :D

This will be nothing short of epic.

Looks great. But where in the Riddick story does this lye? From the look, somewhere between Pitch Black and Chronicles. Because from the end of Chronicles, he was a King.

loving the trailer! looks abit like a HD remake of pitch black though, not that i'm complaining as i love that film

@youngrizo Agreed. When they announced this film I was really excited to see the continuation of Chronicles, but in here I just see Pitch Black with much better CGI and action, the hell with all the haters that complained about The Chronicles of Riddick, the film is Fantastic, the ending leaves you wanting more, I'm really hoping the film gives a strong exlanation for the new storyline.

I look forward to this cause I trust Twohy and Diesel to pull off a good Riddick movie but I really hate all the people that complained about Chronicles and forced them to make basically another Pitch Black instead of the trilogy they had originally envisioned.

                                          I see what'cha did there @dan1.

Really though, this looks really good. Hopefully, even though I'm nearly sure about the answer, this didn't give too much away.
