            @bawnian-dexeus Are you referring to Phoenix? If so, I agree. That last shot of him in the suit walking down the parking lot looks exactly like my grandfather did in the 50s -- that slender, hunched shoulders look. Filmmaking at its most authentic.

                @narrator I noticed that, too, however, PTA has always been a fan of wide angles, long takes and expressionistic lighting -- it is his style. Also the use of color, e.g., the blues and the reds in Punch Drunk Love.

                  PTA is really going in a different direction with this feature. From what I've seen of the actors performances thus far, to the music in the trailer, to the old fashioned lighting and cinematography, this just screams powerful and weird.
