Second ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Midseason Trailer

AMC has released "Not Afraid," a new trailer for the return of The Walking Dead Season 4 , premiering Sunday, February 9 at 9pm ET with the episode After. Watch new footage as the separated survivors struggle to save who they are, and not what they were in all-new episodes this winter.

Following the devastating events of the mid-season finale, Rick and the group are still reeling from the loss of their home, family, and friends. With the destruction of the prison, we see the group of survivors broken apart and sent on divergent paths, unsure of everyone else's fate. What was a challenging life behind fences and walls grows that much more perilous and precious as they are exposed to new dangers, new enemies, and heartbreaking choices. They will have their faith thoroughly tested -- a faith that breaks some of them and redeems others. The Walking Dead returns with all-new episodes this February.

@ghostman ya it be really obvious but still carol was the one who encouraged Lizzie to start being independent after it happened so i dont think she's the one

@undeadslayer4 From the most recent episodes that have aired, pretty sure Lizzie is behind those killings and the rats.

@skywise Awesome to hear man! I'm all caught up with the comics as well. I'm on issue #120 I believe. I can't wait to see how they take the current comics and adapt them onto the show.

@ghostman As a longtime follower of the comics and a fan of the show I have been pleased on both fronts. Like anything there are high points and lows but luckily (for me at least) there are more highs.

Looking forward to this season to really get to know some of the other characters a bit more. Rick has been fully fleshed out but I think some of the others need a chance to be front and center and this would be a great time to do that.

@undeadslayer4 Most likely we will never know what caused it. At least not from Rick's groups standpoint.

Maybe the spin off series they are doing will shed some light on that but to be honest I prefer my zombie apocalypse with a bit of mystery. It is more frightening when the thing that is doing this is a complete mystery.

@undeadslayer4 I'm more interested in the rats situation and who is behind that.

@skywise Since it is loosely following the comics, things should get interesting now that they left the prison; look forward to seeing new characters and new threats soon ;)

It looks like they are going to be shaking things up quite a bit this season. After spending so much time in the prison this could be just what the show needs.

having the characters split up will allow the writers to really go in to depth with some of the side characters. That is my hope anyway.

Why this is on MW though is beyond me. Still, I am excited.
