Last month, Syfy released a new trailer for their highly-anticipated sequel Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, which revealed the fate of Tara Reid's character April. The third installment ended on a cliffhanger, allowing fans to vote whether April lives or dies. Fans voted for her return. Today we have a new trailer, which features just some of the numerous cameos, along with a few Star Wars references as well.

The trailer, which debuted on YouTube today, reveals that the action has shifted to Las Vegas, and that this new Sharknado isn't the only thing Vegas residents have to worry about. We also see a number of new tornadoes, such as a "firenado," "oilnado" and a "cownado," which may be a not-so-subtle reference to the infamous cow scene in the 1996 thriller Twister. It is also revealed cities such as San Francisco, Seattle and Salt Lake City coming under attack from these inexplicable storms. The end of this trailer also reveals that Tara Reid's April may have some Jedi powers of her own, as she's seen wielding a lightsaber that comes out of her arm, which takes Dolvett Quince by surprise.

Syfy revealed the last wave of cameos last month for this summer's fourth installment. The sequel will include appearances by Carrot Top, the Chippendales Dancers, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi, Steve Guttenberg (3 Men and a Baby) and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering, 90210), in his determined fight to protect the world from the sharknado menace, will enlist help from some new friends.

Andre "Black Nerd" Meadows (YouTube star) plays a Train Conductor, Carrot Top (Las Vegas Headliner) portrays an Uber Driver while the Chippendales Dancers ("Chippendales") appear as themselves. DeStorm Power (You Tube/Vine Star) is a National Guardsman, Dolvett Quince (The Biggest Loser) stars as a Trainer, Erika Girardi (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) plays Tech Frances and Gilbert Gottfried (comedian) is a TODAY Show correspondent, who we see announcing a "cownado" in this trailer. The cameos are rounded out by Seth Rollins (WWE Superstar) as AstroTech Lopez, Steve Guttenberg (Colton West, Lavalantula, 2 Lava 2) as a Car Owner, Hayley Hasselhoff as Supervisor Mary Jane and Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff as Pilot Shaylin, iJustine (You Tube star) as Supervisor Brock, Roy Nelson (MMA fighter) as Donnie the Paparazzo, Stassi Schroeder as Koening and Jax Taylor as a Guardsman ("Vanderpump Rules") and Paul Shaffer as himself.

All of these new cameo performers join a cast that includes David Hasselhoff, Ryan Newman, Gary Busey, Tommy Davidson, Imani Hakim, Cody Linley, Masiela Lusha and Cheryl Tiegs. In addition to this new trailer, we also have two new behind-the-scenes videos which give us a glimpse at the set while production was under way earlier this year. Sharknado 4 is a production of The Asylum. Anthony C. Ferrante returns to direct an original screenplay written by Thunder Levin. Syfy has set a premiere date of Sunday, July 31 at 8 PM ET for Sharknado: The 4th Awakens. Check out the new trailer and behind-the-scenes videos from Sharknado: The 4th Awakens.
