IMAX Corporation and DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. today announced that Shrek Forever After will open in 194 IMAX theatres domestically on May 21, 2010, simultaneous with the film's wide release. The movie will also open in 45 IMAX locations internationally starting on May 20. Shrek Forever After has been digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of "The IMAX Experience with IMAX DMR technology and will be presented in IMAX theatres in IMAX 3D.
