Artist Casey Spooner will appear on the number one daytime drama series, The Young and the Restless Friday, March 14 on the CBS Television Network. Spooner, co-creator of Fischerspooner, a collaborative art and performance project, will appear as himself on The Young and the Restless.

He currently performs multiple roles, including Laertes, in The Wooster Group's production of Hamlet, now on tour worldwide. Fischerspooner also contributes two original songs to the piece, composed to excerpts of Shakespeare's text. Fischerspooner is developing a new theatrical show, a collaboration with The Wooster Group, that premieres at the end of 2008.

Fischerspooner has also teamed up with French label Kitsune to release two new singles. The first song, "The Best Revenge" was released on February 4th and is available on iTunes; "Danse en France" releases on March 10th. The Young and the Restless has been the Number One rated daytime drama for more than 19 years and will celebrate its 35th anniversary on March 26, 2008. The series tied with The Guiding Light to win the 2007 Outstanding Drama Series Emmy Award, marking its seventh award in this category, and bringing its Emmy total to a record 100.
