IMP Awards has debuted the sixth poster for the upcoming live action/CGI adventure The Smurfs, which will arrive in theaters nationwide on August 3. Check out the image below: Smurfs Poster #6

Audiences everywhere are in for a Smurfy good time as the Smurfs make their first 3D trip to the big screen. When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours - in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

The Smurfs was released July 29th, 2011.

Why the Smurf did they make this movie? And you guys advertising, y'all need to go on somewhere. This is not the place for that.

trend is making the cgi work with live action from Garfield, Scooby-doo, Yogi, its a lot to compensate and take the risks! IMO, it works better when you retain it in cgi and make it a full animated film...
