With Tarsem Singh's Untitled Snow White Project scooping up all of the real dwarf actors in Hollywood, director Rupert Sanders is being forced to rely on CGI mixed with some very tall, very great character actors for his Snow White and the Huntsman. The 7th dwarf has finally been cast, and this diminutive warrior will be played by the thick brick house Ray Winstone.

Ray Winstone joins Ian McShane, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan (a great grumpy dwarf if there ever was one), and Stephen Graham as the seven dwarfs who help Snow White (Kristen Stewart) and the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) defeat the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron).

Screenwriter Evan Spiliotopoulos bucked the cutesy Disney dwarf names, instead tagging his small army after Roman emperors. Ray Winstone will play Trajan, the twin brother of Hadrian, played by Eddie Marsan.

Snow White and the Huntsman begins shooting in Europe sometime this August.
