Set for the 2015 Awards season is acclaimed director Oliver Stone's latest drama, now titled Snowden. We have a first look photo featuring leading man Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is prepared for battle both on and off the field. Arriving in theaters this December, the movie also co-stars an amazing ensemble that includes Shailene Woodley, Scott Eastwood, Melissa Leo, Tom Wilkinson, Nicolas Cage, Rhys Ifans, Timothy Olyphant and Joely Richardson.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Edward Snowden, the NSA whistleblower who uncovered massive governmental surveillance programs carried out on ordinary civilians. His story was told last year in the documentary Citizenfour, which recounted the events in real time and went onto win the Best Documentary Oscar at this year's 87th Academy Awards.

Oliver Stone is working alongside his producing partner Moritz Borman on Snowden. The biopic could land Oliver Stone back in the Oscar race after sitting out the past two decades.
