Creator Kurt Sutter has been building towards Sons of Anarchy's final moments for seven long years, as the hit FX series comes to a close this Tuesday, December 9th, with Papa's Goods. While the contents of this episode should come as a surprise to fans, the epic ending was leaked because of a shipping error. Copies of the expansive Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector's Edition companion book arrived earlier than expected. And while there are many people to blame, Kurt Sutter is taking the brunt of that blame himself.

Kurt Sutter is definitely angry about the mistake. The Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector's Edition companion book offers a full rundown of the Sons of Anarchy Season 7 finale, which brings everything to its epic conclusion. And it has arrived several days before the episode is set to air. While Kurt Sutter is ready to 'collect everyone's head in a basket' for this, he has issued fans an apology, which you can read here in its entirety:

It has been brought to my attention that our SOA Collector's Edition Book has been sent out a week early by some distributors and book outlets. This book contains details about the final episode of the series. This, my friends is a storyteller's worst nightmare. I wanted this book to be a compliment to the show. It contains personal messages and photos from the cast, in-depth behind the scenes information and detailed breakdown of episodes. It's a smart, well-conceived book that I was very excited for the fans to have. AFTER the motherfucking finale. There are a thousand fucking people I can blame. And I assure you, by the time I am done, my fucking basket will be filled with heads of incompetent cunts. But as far as the fans go, the burden is on me. I fucked up. It was my idea for the book, so ultimately, I am to blame. So if you received a book, I apologize. I ask that you not share your wrath or pain or opinion in social media so as to not spoil the experience of others. There is no excuse for utter ineptitude. It pains me that this will be the parting memory of some fans. I hope you all tune in for the finale. It plays much better than it reads.

Sincerely

Ks

A spokesperson for Time Home Entertainment issued the following statement:

"As the publisher, we have a very strict embargo in place for the on-sale date of Wednesday, December 10, 2014. We have learned that a wholesaler has broken the embargo and released a limited quantity of books in advance of the on-sale date. While extremely disappointed, we are very proud of the book, which is a wonderful tribute to the show."

Anyone who received the book but has not yet flipped through it is encouraged not to until this Tuesday. Now its just a matter of time until these events are wide spread across the iInternet. It's unclear exactly what kind of true action Kurt Sutter can take. We'll be sure to update you in case this goes to court. Will you be able to make it to Tuesday at 10pm before learning the truth about the ending?
