Sophia Myles Joins ‘Transformers 4’

Sophia Myles joins the cast of Transformers 4 British actress Sophia Myles has signed on to star in Paramount Pictures' highly-anticipated sequel Transformers 4 for director Michael Bay.

While Paramount would not comment on the casting, insiders claim the actress will play a scientist. She joins a cast that already includes Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, and Kelsey Grammer.

Michael Bay is directing from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Ian Bryce, Tom DeSanto, and Don Murphy producing. Shooting is scheduled to begin this summer in Chicago, Detroit, and China.

Sophia Myles is best known for playing Erika in Underworld and Underworld: Evolution. She will next be seen in Gallows Hill, which is currently in post-production.

Transformers: Age of Extinction was released June 27th, 2014.
