Does anyone really know what is going on with Sony's Spider-Man franchise? We've heard a lot of rumors, and the leaked emails from the Sony hack helped shed some light on the studio's plan. But nothing has been set in stone. The Sinister Six still seems to be chugging towards its November 2016 release date, but no official word has been made regarding The Amazing Spider-Man 3, or if Peter Parker is being recast. We continue to hear that Marvel and Sony have worked out a deal to share the character, but that has never been confirmed. There are also numerous reports that Sony is planning an all-female Spider-Man spinoff. Well, if that's the case, we may not see Felicity Jones as Black Cat in it. As the actress reveals in a recent interview with Clevver Movies, she has no plans to play the character.

""Well, she's such a great character in the comics. I mean, if that happened, that would be lovely. There are no plans, but I'd love to play her. She's a fantastic, awesome female characters."

Felicity Jones had a minor role as Felicia in the overstuffed The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was never quite confirmed that she was actually playing Felicia Hardy, though that was strongly hinted at. Even with her limited screen time, fans liked what they saw, and many were excited to see her fully transform into Black Cat in a future movie, whether it be The Amazing Spider-Man 3, The Sinister Six or an all-female spinoff. But that may not come to pass. Is Sony planning a complete reboot of all their characters? That's highly possible. What do you think? Should Sony keep Felicity Jones as Black Cat? Should she be recast if Andrew Garfield gets recast as Peter Parker? Or should they just do away with the character all together?
