Sony Pictures is hoping to keep their Easy A star Emma Stone on the lot a little longer, with the actor being considered for lead roles in both of Sony's upcoming franchise properties Untitled Spider-Man Reboot and 21 Jump Street.

Emma Stone has been circling 21 Jump Street for a while now, according to Variety. The action comedy about undercover police detectives working in a high school would reunite Stone with her Superbad co-star Jonah Hill, who is co-writing, starring in, and producing the project. The movie is scheduled to start shooting sometime in early 2011.

Variety also indicates that Emma Stone is on the short list of actors vying for the female lead in Sony's Untitled Spider-Man Reboot. Other contenders for this role, starring opposite Andrew Garfield as the title character, include Lily Collins, Teresa Palmer, and Mia Wasikowska.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Sony's Untitled Spider-Man Reboot is actually seeking two female leads, and that Emma Stone and Mia Wasikowska are being seriously considered, with Wasikowska having just flown out to New York to meet with director Marc Webb and Andrew Garfield.

Some speculate that Emma Stone might be playing classic romantic interest Mary Jane Watson, and that Mia Wasikowska will take on the part of Gwen Stacy.

An official casting announcement is expected soon.
