Sally Field could play Aunt may in the Untitled Spider-Man Reboot
On the heels of the news less than an hour ago that Martin Sheen is playing Uncle Ben, Heat Vision Blog is now reporting that Sally Field is in talks to portray his wife Aunt May in the Untitled Spider-Man Reboot.

The actress is only in early talks for the role, though, so it isn't a locked-in certainty that Sally Field will play Aunt May, the character that is primarily responsible for raising young Peter Parker after Uncle Ben is killed.

Sally Field would join a cast that already includes Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as the unknown villain. Sally Field's last role in a major studio movie was in 2003's Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, & Blonde, and she also appeared in the indie movie Two Weeks in 2006.

As always, we'll keep you posted with any further Untitled Spider-Man Reboot news as soon as we have more information.
