Look out! Here comes the Spider-Man trailer! Ever since Marvel started connecting the characters from their various movies together, fans have been hoping that someday, that would involve Spider-Man. Thanks to a very complicated deal that Kevin Feige worked out with Sony, that is finally happening, and Spider-Man: Homecoming is going to be Peter Parker's first solo adventure as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If we weren't excited for the movie already, we surely are now, because Marvel has finally done us all a huge favore and released the first trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Fans have been waiting rather impatiently for this first trailer ever since Marvel Studios debuted the first video for the movie during their Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con over the summer. That footage was never made public, so only a choice few got to see what Marvel had in store. Now the cat is out of the bag and we can get out first, really good look at what a solo Spider-Man movie in the MCU looks like. There may have been some early hesitation with Spider-Man: Homecoming, given that we just had Sony's failed Amazing Spider-Man reboot not all that long ago. But after Tom Holland delivered what we all were hoping to see from him in Captain America: Civil War, that quickly changed. This trailer further solidifies everyone's excitement about this new Spidey.

Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe closed its doors with Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man last year, but Phase 3 is here and there is a whole lot to look forward to, not the least of which is Spider-Man Homecoming. Captain America: Civil War officially kicked off Phase 3 of the MCU with a bang, and though it was a Captain America movie at its heart, there was still time to introduce a few new characters, most notably Spider-Man. The reception the new version of the character has been nothing shy of great. With that, came a lot of excitement for this movie, but on the flip side it raised expectations even higher than they already were. There is a lot riding on this movie.

The cast for Homecoming has absolutely exploded with talent since entering production. Marvel had been surrounding Tom Holland with a ton of talent to make this movie is something potentially very special. Robert Downey Jr. will be reprising his role as Tony Stark, and perhaps most exciting, Oscar winner Michael Keaton has been tapped to play the Vulture, who will be the main villain in the movie. Joining them will be Martin Starr, Logan Marshall-Green, Angourie Rice, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Hannibal Buress, Jon Favreau, Bokeem Woodbine and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
