Director Bryan Singer is firming up his cast for Jack the Giant Killer, bringing on Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, and John Kassir.

Stanley Tucci will play the lead villain, Roderick, the adviser to the king with shady plans to overtake the land of Cloister. Bill Nighy and John Kassir will portray each head of Fallon, the two-headed leader of the giants.

We reported in early December that actors such as Aaron Johnson, Nicholas Hoult, and Aneurin Bernard were in contention to portray Jack. The role still hasn't been cast yet and it isn't clear if any of those actors are still up for the part.

The movie centers on the land of Cloister, where a longstanding peace between the humans and giants is disrupted when Jack tries to save a princess who is kidnapped by the giants.

Bryan Singer will direct Jack the Giant Killer from a script by Christopher McQuarrie, Mark Bomback, and Darren Lemke. David Dobkin and Neal H. Moritz are producing.

Jack the Giant Killer will begin production next month in London, so we expect to hear who will be playing Jack in the very near future.
