When the full cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was announced last April, fans wondered how new cast members Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren) and Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) fit into the story. Over the past year, their characters were eventually confirmed, and fans should learn much more about the highly-anticipated sequel at Comic-Con this year. While we wait for the annual convention to start, a new rumor from Making Star Wars reveals new details about Rey and the other main characters' parents. There will be potential spoilers below, so read on at your own risk.

There has been plenty of speculation that at least some of these characters are the offspring of Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) or Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). For instance, Rey is reportedly "drawn to" the Millennium Falcon and she "instinctively" knows how to repair it

"None of the heroes... the kids... are Solos or Skywalkers. Rey is not a Solo. It would not knock me on my knees to learn she is a Solo. VII does not answer that question. It just presents it. We have not seen anything to make us think the girl is the daughter... yet."

In related news, there will be a Star Wars Stormtrooper toy on sale at Comic-Con 2015 as a convention exclusive, with the packaging revealing it will be a First Order Stormtrooper. There are no details on how the First Order Stormtroopes fit into the Star Wars: The Force Awakens story, but we'll keep you posted with more details as they become available. In the meantime, take a look at the packaging photo below.
