Fans finally got their first look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens earlier today when the trailer finally debuted. The footage has been received with largely positive reactions since its debut just a few hours ago, and we've compiled a few tweets from celebrities and filmmakers, expressing their opinions on the footage. Check out what Anna Kendrick, Colin Hanks, Edgar Wright, Kevin Smith, Ben Schwartz, Chris Hardwick, Rob Liefeld, Lloyd Kaufman, Paul Scheer, Jason Eisener, James Gunn, Josh Gad and Jaime King had to say about the first footage.

There were also some who took to Twitter to offer their theories on who serves as the narrator, with some claiming it's Adam Driver and others saying it's Andy Serkis.

Oddly enough, actor Simon Pegg, an unabashed and longtime Star Wars fan, decided to deactivate his Twitter account today, but did address the Star Wars: The Force Awakens in his farewell note.
