The big day is finally here! Star Wars Celebration kicks off today in London, with the iconic Star Wars legend Mark Hamill. For those who can't make it to this big event, LucasFilm has you covered, with several of these panels being streamed live online, with the Mark Hamill panel kicking off the live stream schedule.

Start your Celebration weekend off in the best possibly way, by spending time with the Jedi Master himself. Mark Hamill will chat with the audience, answer questions, and tell stories from his years in entertainment and from his point of view portraying the pivotal character of Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars universe. Of course, we don't know for sure what he'll talk about, but Star Wars: Episode VIII will surely be discussed at some point.

Earlier this week, Mark Hamill revealed that he had wrapped on Star Wars: Episode VIII, while sharing a video from the wrap party, featuring a group of dancing Stormtroopers known as Boogie Storm. Daisy Ridley and John Boyega have also recently wrapped, with Mark Hamill confirming that production will completely wrap on Friday, July 22, which just happens to be Star Wars Day at Comic-Con. Unfortunately, no Star Wars panels are being planned for SDCC, but fans will get to live stream plenty of panels from Star Wars Celebration this weekend.

Even with production winding down, LucasFilm still has not released a full synopsis or any official plot details about Star Wars 8, but there have already been plenty of rumors. It is believed that Luke Skywalker will start Rey's Jedi training, with the story starting directly after the final moments of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, when Rey meets Luke on Ahch-To, the planet where he's been hiding for several years.

There have been also been rumors claiming that Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) has captured both Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), in an effort to lure Rey out of hiding for another lightsaber duel. Rian Johnson is directing from his own script, with Domhnall Gleeson(General Hux), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa) and Lupita Nyong'o ({Maz Kanata) also reprising their roles from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
