Sad news for Star Wars: Episode VII. The production is losing Harrison Ford for nearly two months following his injury on set last week.

The actor reportedly broke his ankle while shooting a scene that involved the Millennium Falcon. The ramp came up too quickly, catching his foot in the door. Harrison Ford was quickly rushed to the hospital, where his ankle was reset, and he required a number of screws to be placed in his foot. He is also said to have suffered a pelvis injury and undergone a chest x-ray. He will be out for exactly 8 weeks.

Shooting will continue on in his absence, with the film still expected to meet its December 2015 release date. It has been reported that when Harrison Ford does return to set after sitting out for 8 weeks, he will only be shot from the waist up. This has not been confirmed by Disney, LucasFilm or director J.J. Abrams.
