While the rest of the world waits just a few more days to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the world premiere was held in Hollywood, California on Monday, which was the first time this highly-anticipated film was screened for fans and critics alike. The red carpet festivities were streamed live for fans around the world to see, but today we have several new videos from Walt Disney Studios that give fans a closer look inside the premiere itself. One of these videos shows Disney's Robert A. Iger introducing the cast and crew just before the screening started.

We also have a number of B-roll videos that showcase a number of different items that were on display during the premiere, such as a custom-wrapped Dodge Viper with Kylo Ren-themed graphics, large statues depicting characters such as Captain Phasma and much more. If that wasn't enough, the studio has also provided us with video interview clips straight from the red carpet, with new stars such as Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Andy Serkis (Supreme Leader Snoke), Daisy Ridley (Rey), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong'o (Maz Kanata). Original trilogy stars Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa) also offer their thoughts on this new adventure, along with several other stars who attended the premiere.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will introduce three new heroes into the Star Wars universe, John Boyega's Finn, Daisy Ridley's Rey and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron, along with Adam Driver's villainous Kylo Ren. Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo) and Carrie Fisher are also reprising their iconic roles from the original trilogy. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens supporting cast includes Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke and Max von Sydow as an unidentified character.

J.J. Abrams directs Star Wars: The Force Awakens from a screenplay he co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan and Michael Arndt. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are serve as producers with Tommy Harper and Jason D. McGatlin executive producing. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be followed by the first spinoff, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, arriving on December 16, 2016. Star Wars: Episode VIII is slated for release on May 26, 2017, with Star Wars Anthology: Han Solo Movie arriving on May 25, 2018 and Star Wars: Episode IX premiering sometime in 2019.

The beloved droids BB-8, R2-D2 and C-3PO were even present on the red carpet earlier this week, along with other Hollywood stars such as Modern Family's Sarah Hyland, Brendan Gleeson, the father of Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Domhnall Gleeson, Diane Sawyer and the creator of the Star Wars universe, George Lucas.
